[Software Features]

This software is a system to learn new knowledge and concepts through interaction with a user. Two concept learning methods have been implemented based on predicate logic and inductive/analogic learning. Higher-order learning is under development. The system has some concurrent features, since it is implemented by the concurrent logic language KLIC.

[Required Environment]

Sequential implementation of the CONCEPT-LR system requires any UNIX system on which standard KLIC (version 2.002 or later) can be installed.

Parallel implementation of CONCEPT-LR system requires the shared memory implementation of KLIC (version 2.002 or later). The Concept-LR was only tested on the DEC7000 shared memory multi-processor machine with OSF/1 3.0 OS.
