AITEC Contract Research Projects in FY1997 : Abstract

(6) Research and Development of Data Mining Engine Datagol based on Inductive Logic Programming

Principal Investigator : Mr. Koichi Furukawa, Professor
Graduate school of Media and Governance, Keio University

We designed a data mining engine Datagol based on Inductive Logic Programming and implemented a prototype of the system. We also designed and implemented a debugging and support system for users. Furthermore, we pursued theoretical research for the completion of the inverse entailment computation and developed an algorithm for computing complete MSH (Most Specific Hypothesis).
