(11) Application of Heterogeneous Distributed Cooperative Problem Solver Helios to Computer Supported Cooperative Works

This study aims to improve HELIOS, a heterogeneous distributed cooperative problem solving system developed at ICOT and provided as IFS. This study examines the possibility of applying HELIOS to large-scale applications CSCW (Computer Supported Cooperative Work) to clarify functional specification of improved HELIOS. Particularly, since CSCW in spatially and temporalyl distributed environments is a heterogeneous distributed system based on database systems, the study will focus on the possibility of using HELIOS for such a system.
