IFS Japanese Morphological Grammar Rules




Introduction

The IFS Japanese Morphological Grammar Rules is an implementation for UNIX-based computers of the grammar rules of Morphological Analysis System LAX -- free software released by ICOT(Institute for New Generation Computer Technology). The IFS grammar rules is designed for the Chasen, Breakfast or ANIMA Morphological Analysis Engine. Some dictionary data are also added.

To help you make better user of the grammar package, we have been developing (1) GUI interface for Windows 95/NT OS, (2) easy guide book for users. The package includes (1) a window-based interface for IFS Japanese (morphological) analysis system, (2) a user manual written in Japanese which is for non technical majors.

Note that the interface program is the Beta version. We are in the process of making the program.
