STUDY ON MOLECULAR EVOLUTION PHYLOGENETIC TREE GENERATION PROGRAM BASED ON THE MAXIMUM LIKELIHOOD METHOD USING PARALLEL LOGIC PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE

This study aims to implement the molecular evolutionary phylogenetic tree presumption method based on a probabilistic concept (the maximum likelihood method) to parallel machines using parallel logic programming language KL1/KLIC. The final goal of this study is to implement realistic genetic information analysis programs. In addition, this study will examine whether KL1/KLIC is effective as a framework for constructing a reliable model from complex and various data in the real world. The programs includes hypothesis space creation (topology/2), phylogenetic tree optimization (traverse/3), and n-dimensional logarithmic likelihood space visualization (contour/1).
