RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF PROGRAMMING ENVIRONMENT FOR INDUCTIVE PARALLEL SYMBOL PROCESSING

This study is to establish a foundation for inductive information processing, with the final goal of implementing the inductive aspects of intelligence through symbol processing. For that purpose, we will design KLEIG, a parallel symbol processing programming environment based on the concept of processes and streams, and will make partial prototypes of its editing system and the translator to KLIC. Furthermore, we will use KLEIG to explore the possibility of parallel inductive programs, a new type of programs that can adopt their behavior to the environment through inductive learning from experience and samples.
