(1) Improving the Runtime System of KLIC

This study aims to improve and extend the functions of the KLIC system, already available as IFS, as a more complete programming system for parallel logic programming, making it suitable for wider range of application. For this purpose, remaining performance problems such as one in memory management will be solved to give KLIC the full performance intended in its original design. Enhancements of its software development environment, such as tracing and profiling features, are also planned.
