[Features of the Software]
The software improves and enhances KLIC version 2.0 which was released
as ICOT Free Software, and provides the following features,
in addition to those provided by the original KLIC.

The Goal Object feature that allows metalevel handling of
executable goals.

A tracer, called DDU, written in KL1 itself built upon the goal object
feature.

A semiautomatic load distribution mechanism, called SKULD,
based on the lazy task creation concept.
[Required Environment]
The same as for the original KLIC.
[File Configuration]
Distribution contains the following files and subdirectories.
- README
- A terse description of what's in the distribution (in Japanese)
- HANDBILL
- Description of the software (in Japanese)
- INFO
- Information on what's where, etc (in Japanese)
- Documents
- Sources
- The directory
Documents
contains manuals and
documents on the internal structure of the software. The directory
Sources
contains source code and sample programs.
Both directories have the following subdirectories corresponding
to different parts of the software.
- enhanced-klic
- KLIC enhanced with the goal object feature
- ddu
- Tracer written in KL1 itself
- skuld
- Semiautomatic load distribution feature
[Others]
This software is under development and, except for the goal object
feature, features augmented to the original KLIC are not yet
ready for practical use.
All the documents except for this very document and those included in
the original KLIC are in Japanese.
